On the return from the captivity

1Praise the LORD. O you, His servants, praise the name of the LORD. 2Blessed be the name of the LORD now and for evermore. 3From the rising of the sun to the setting of the same, the LORD's name is to be praised. 4The LORD is high above all nations, and His glory is higher than the heavens. 5Who is like the LORD our God - Who dwells on high, 6Who looks down from heaven to observe all the things and events in the earth! 7He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the trash heap, 8So that He may seat him among leaders of His people. 9He gives the childless woman a home and family where she is a joyful mother of children. Praise the LORD.
