1The day of the LORD is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions shall be plundered and divided within your very walls. 2I will gather all nations to fight against Jerusalem; and the city shall be captured, the houses rifled, the women ravished; and half of the city shall go into captivity, and the rest of the people will remain in the city. 3Then shall the LORD go out, and fight against those nations, as He fights in a day of battle. 4And His feet shall stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives shall split from east to west, forming a very great valley; with half of the mountain moving toward the north, and half of it toward the south. 5And you shall flee through this valley; for the valley shall extend to Azel. Yes, you shall flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah. Then the LORD, my God, shall come, and all His saints with Him.

6On that day; all sources of light shall not appear. 7It shall be a unique day - one known only to the LORD - with no distinction between day and night; but when evening comes, there shall be light. 8And on that day, living water shall flow out from Jerusalem; half toward the east to the Dead Sea, and the other half toward the Mediterranean Sea; both in summer and in winter. 9And the LORD shall be King over the entire earth. On that day there shall be one LORD, and His name alone. 10All the land, from Geba to Rimmon, south of Jerusalem, shall be turned into a vast plain (like the Arabah); but Jerusalem shall be raised, from Benjamin's gate to the site of the First Gate, to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the royal winepresses; and shall remain in its place. 11And it shall be inhabited; never again shall it be destroyed, but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.

12And this shall be the plague with which the LORD will strike all the nations that fought against Jerusalem: their flesh shall dissolve as they stand upon their feet, and even their eyes shall dissolve in their eye-sockets, and their tongue shall dissolve in their mouth. 13And in that day, a great tumult from the LORD shall be among them (they shall be stricken with panic); and they shall seize and attack one another. 14And Judah shall also fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the surrounding nations shall be collected - gold, silver, and apparel - in great abundance. 15And a similar plague shall strike the horse, mule, camel, and donkey - all the beasts that are in their camps.

16And then the survivors of all the nations which attacked Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, and celebrate the Festival of Tabernacles. 17And if any nation, of all the families of the earth, will not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they shall receive no rain. 18And if the Egyptians do not go up, and take part, they shall have no rain; but the LORD will punish them with the same plague, with which the LORD inflicts the nations that do not come up to keep the Festival of Tabernacles. 19 Egypt, and any nations that do not come up to keep the Festival of Tabernacles shall receive the same punishment.

20On that day shall there be inscribed upon the bells of the horses, “HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD”; and the cooking pots in the LORD's Temple shall be like the sacred bowls before the altar. 21Yes, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holy unto the LORD Almighty; and all who come to sacrifice shall take of some of those pots and cook in them. On that day there shall no longer be a Canaanite in the Temple of the LORD Almighty.
