II. THE MODE OF ITS ANNOUNCEMENT — "preached."

1. Clearly.

2. Fully.

3. Affectionately.

4. Faithfully.

5. As the Word of God.

III. THE OBJECTS WHICH ARE ESPECIALLY BROUGHT BEFORE US IN THE TEXT — "the poor." The gospel knows no partiality. The poor in spirit also have the gospel preached to them.
