Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. The application of this prophecy to Messiah is beyond all doubt. It contains the announcement of a divinely appointed and effectual remedy for the guilt and misery of man. 1. The certainty of this provision. "There shall be a fountain." 2. The perpetuity of this provision. 3. The freeness of this provision. 4. The sufficiency of this provision. (W. G. Barrett.) Parallel Verses KJV: In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and for uncleanness. |
