The Apostle's Testimony
Acts 20:20-21
And how I kept back nothing that was profitable to you, but have showed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house,…

From the nature of this testimony we see —

I. THE GENUINENESS OF PAUL'S CONVERSION.

II. THE IMPARTIALITY OF HIS MINISTRY. "Jews and also the Greeks."

III. THE PURELY EVANGELICAL NATURE OF HIS DOCTRINE. Repentance and faith.

IV. THE OBJECTS AND TWO-FOLD EXERCISE OF THE SINNER'S SALVATION.

1. Repentance toward God. Thus admitting that the law has been broken, and thereby expressing the need of a Saviour.

2. Faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ. Thus accepting Him as a sufficient Redeemer from the curse of the broken law.

(T. Colclough.)
