Explanation
Isaiah 25:11
And he shall spread forth his hands in the middle of them, as he that swims spreads forth his hands to swim…


In ver 11a the figure is Moab, vainly struggling to save himself in the water of the dung pit; in 11b "he" is, of course, Jehovah, who frustrates the efforts made by Moab.

Parallel Verses
KJV: And he shall spread forth his hands in the midst of them, as he that swimmeth spreadeth forth his hands to swim: and he shall bring down their pride together with the spoils of their hands.

WEB: He will spread out his hands in its midst, like one who swims spreads out hands to swim, but his pride will be humbled together with the craft of his hands.
