Ephesians 4:27 Neither give place to the devil. "Neither give place to the devil." How, then, can we most effectually resist him? 1. Think of the promises of your heavenly Father; the purpose of His eternal love; the perfect and glorious attributes of His nature, all of which are engaged in your behalf. 2. Think of the person of the Lord Jesus Christ and the wondrous work which He has done and is still doing for you. These thoughts will strengthen your resolutions to resist the devil. 3.
