There is a great rage nowadays for large congregations and for prominent work; but do not forget individual souls. I think it was Rowland Hill who used to say that if he had a number of bottles before him, and he were to dash water over them, a drop might go into this one and a drop into that; but he said, "If I take one bottle and pour water in I fill it up to the brim." And so it is with individual souls. There is a personality in the application which cannot be estimated if we are speaking face to face in an honest, manly way.
