1 Corinthians 7:32-40
But I would have you without carefulness. He that is unmarried cares for the things that belong to the Lord…


I. ARE UNAVOIDABLE. Marriage involves not merely new anxieties and troubles, but new claims which may interfere with our duty to God.

II. MAY BE MODERATED.

1. By considering the sinfulness of excessive care.

2. By a supreme aim to please God.

3. By pleasing the partner of our life for good to edification.
