The everlasting love of God (Psalm 103:17). 2. The everlasting merit of Christ (Hebrews 9:12). 3. The everlasting covenant (Hebrews 13:20). III. ARE SUFFICIENT TO DO THEIR WORK. 1. To reduce us from temporal and flesh-pleasing vanities (Hebrews 11:25, 26; Psalm 16:11; 1 John 2:17). 2. To make us steadfast in the truth, and cheerful under sufferings (Hebrews 10:84; 2 Corinthians 4:17, 18). 3.
