Galatians 2:16
Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ…

I. JUSTIFICATION.

1. It includes —

(1)  freedom from guilt;

(2)  Divine acceptance.

2. It is grounded on obedience to the law —

(1)  Personally or

(2)  by substitute. The former justifies unfallen angels, the latter by Christ accepted justifies the sinner.

II. The INSTRUMENT Of justification — Faith.
