1. Tempted the woman.

2. When alone.

3. Concealed himself, and spoke through the serpent.

II. A LIAR. "Ye shall not surely die."

III. A SLANDERER. "God doth know," etc.

IV. A DECEIVER. "Ye shall be as gods," etc.
