SOME OF THE THINGS WHICH THE INCIDENT REVEALS CONCERNING CHRIST HIMSELF. 1. It presents Him as the omniscient Teacher of hearts. 2. By what a different standard Christ judges men's actions from that they themselves judge by. 3. His eyes are upon the treasury and those who contribute to it. II. SOME OF THE THINGS WHICH THIS INCIDENT REVEALS RESPECTING OURSELVES. 1. It shows that offerings to the Lord's treasury must bear some decent proportion to what He has bestowed upon us. 2. Our offerings to be acceptable must be felt to involve some sacrifice. 3. Liberality is a means of grace. III. 1. THERE ARE HERE LESSONS FOR THE WHOLE CHURCH. What value God sets on tittles. 2.
