John 1:5 And the light shines in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. It is a fact in physical nature that the sunlight passes through empty space, and neither warms nor lights it. Climb up to the top of the highest mountains at noonday, and the stars come out. The air is thin — it is therefore dark; we see only by as much light as is intercepted. So with your car.
