2 Kings 2:14 And he took the mantle of Elijah that fell from him, and smote the waters, and said, Where is the LORD God of Elijah?… There was a boy dying in one of the English counties. He had heard Whitefield, with his marvellous voice, and glowing heart, preach about the Lord Jesus Christ, and the impression never left him. While yet a child, he had to die; and as the fever flush mounted to his brow, and as the fire burned in his eye, he said, "I should like to go to Mr. Whitefield's God." What a testimony! what a recommendation! I say to Paul to-day, as he tells me of how God's grace was sufficient for him, "I should like to go to Paul's God." (J. Robertson.)
