God's Manifold Mercy
Luke 20:9-19
Then began he to speak to the people this parable; A certain man planted a vineyard, and let it forth to farmers…


Like the drops of a lustre, which reflect a rainbow of colours when the sun is glittering upon them, and each one, when turned in different ways, from its prismatic form shows all the varieties of colour, so the mercy of God is one and yet many, the same yet ever changing, a combination of all the beauties of love blended harmoniously together. You have only to look at mercy in that light, and that light, and that light, to see how rich, how manifold it is.
