WHAT IS THE GREAT HINDRANCE TO THIS FELLOWSHIP? It is here described as walking in darkness. III. WHAT ARE THE CONDITIONS OF THIS FELLOWSHIP? "If we walk in the light we have fellowship with Him." This implies — 1. Activity. 2. Progress. There is no finality in the experience of holiness. 3. Definiteness. 4. Completeness. 5. Pleasantness. "In the light." 6. Safety. He that walketh in the darkness stumbleth (John 11:10). IV. WHAT IS THE RESULT OF FELLOWSHIP? It is evidently cleansing. (H. Thorne.)
