"and He is the propitiation for our sins," repeating the word again and again. Catherine Rondol, a peculiar and eccentric Welsh woman, impatient at his not quoting the whole verse, shouted out, "Yes, Elias, and not for ours only, but for the sins of the WHOLE WORLD!" There is no need to say that Elias had no chance with the audience after that remark of Catherine's. (Sword and Trowel.)
