He had come to rule and reign in times of difficulty and trouble, and he said, "Well, friends and neighbours, there is one thing you can do for me that I ask you to do, and that is — pray for me," and the train went off, bearing him to Washington. That is the spirit that one would desire to see amongst those who are in authority and influence, and it is the spirit that we well may cultivate towards those in authority over us.
