On the side of the oppressors there is power (ver. 7). 2. The oppressed are the brethren of the oppressors. 3. They were engaged in a common cause. III. LIGHT IN DARENESS. 1. Christ cams to proclaim the brotherhood of humanity. 2. Signs of the times. The teacher is abroad. Society is tending towards redress. (Homiletic Commentary.)
