Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer

The covenant God of Israel speaks as the One who delivers His people from bondage, guilt, and ruin. Israel’s Redeemer would restore what sin and judgment had destroyed. The Lord’s redeeming purpose reaches its fullness in Jesus Christ, who gave Himself to purchase sinners for God.
