Wisdom 2:4
Good News Translation
In time, no one will remember anything we ever did, and even our names will be forgotten. Our lives will pass away like the traces of clouds and vanish like fog in the heat of the sun.

New Revised Standard Version
Our name will be forgotten in time, and no one will remember our works; our life will pass away like the traces of a cloud, and be scattered like mist that is chased by the rays of the sun and overcome by its heat.

Contemporary English Version
In time we will be forgotten and so will our deeds. Life disappears like a cloud; it melts away like mist in the heat of the sun.
