Carry One Another’s Burdens

1Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, do you, who are spiritual, restore him with all gentleness, taking heed lest you yourselves be overcome by temptation. 2bear with one another's infirmities, and so fulfil the law of Christ. 3for if a man thinks himself to be considerable, when he is not, he deceives himself. 4but let every one bring his own work to the test, and then he will have matter of glorying in himself alone, and not in another. 5for every man must be answerable for his own actions.

6Let him that is instructed in the word freely communicate his good things to him that teaches him. 7be not deceived, God will not be mocked: for what a man soweth, that shall he also reap: 8he that soweth to his vices, shall reap the deadly fruit of his vices; but he that sows to the spirit, shall of the spirit reap everlasting life. 9let us then not be weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap, if we be not tired. 10therefore as we have opportunity, let us do good offices to all men, especially to the family of believers.

Final Warnings and Blessings

11You see how long a letter I have writ to you with my own hand. 12they who desire to make a figure in the world, constrain you to be circumcised, only to avoid being persecuted for the cross of Christ. 13for even they who are circumcised, do not themselves observe the law in other respects; but they dedesire to have you circumcised, that they may have matter of glorying upon that account. 14but far be it from me that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world is as contemptible to me, as I am to the world. 15for in the dispensation of Jesus Christ, neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but the new creation.

16as many as walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, even upon the Israel of God.

17from henceforth let no man give me trouble; for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

18Brethren, the favour of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, amen.
