| 2O Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleas for mercy! | 2Lord, listen to my voice; let Your ears be attentive to my cry for help. |
| 3If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who could stand? | 3Yahweh, if You considered sins, Lord, who could stand? |
| 4But with you there is forgiveness, that you may be feared. | 4But with You there is forgiveness, so that You may be revered. |
| 5I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; | 5I wait for Yahweh; I wait and put my hope in His word. |
