| 3For you have been a refuge for me, a tower of strength before the enemy. | 3For You have been my refuge, a tower of strength against the enemy. |
| 4Let me make my home in your tent forever; let me hide under the shelter of your wings. Interlude | 4Let me dwell in Your tent forever and take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah |
| 5For you, God, have heard my promises; you have assigned to me the heritage of those who fear your name. | 5For You have heard my vows, O God; You have given me the inheritance reserved for those who fear Your name. |
