| 2For this reason we do not fear when the earth shakes, and the mountains tumble into the depths of the sea, | 2Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas, |
| 3when its waves crash and foam, and the mountains shake before the surging sea. (Selah) | 3though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with its turmoil. Selah |
