1 Now when our sailing to Italy was determined, they delivered up both Paul and certain other prisoners to a centurion named Julius, of the cohort of Augustus. 2 And having boarded a ship of Adramyttium being about to sail to the places along Asia, we set sail—Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us. 3 And the next day we landed at Sidon. And Julius, having treated Paul considerately, allowed him, having gone to his friends, to receive care. Acts 27:1-3, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
