1 And, when it was decided that we should sail to Italy, they delivered Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion, Julius by name, of the Augustan band.

2 And, embarking upon a ship of Adramyttium, about to sail along the coasts of Asia, we put to Sea, Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.

3 And the next day we landed at Sidon. And Julius, treating Paul humanely, gave him permission to go to his friends to receive their attention.
