1 Let not your heart be troubled: you trust in God, trust also in me. 2 in my father's house are many mansions; however, I have told you, I am going to prepare a place for you: 3 and when I am gone, and have prepar'd a place for you, I will come again, to take you with me, that where I am there ye may be also. 4 and where I am going you know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas said to him, Lord, we know not whither you are going, how then can we know the way? 6 Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man can come to the father, but by me. 7 if you had known me, you would likewise have known my father: and from henceforth you shall know him, nay, you have seen him. 8 Philip said to him, Lord shew us the father, and we are satisfied. 9 Jesus said to him, have I been with you so long, and don't you know me yet?
