8 He said to them, Be careful that you may not be deceived; for many will come in my name, and say, I am the Christ; and the time is near; but do not follow them. 9 And when you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be afraid; for all these things must first come to pass; but the end is not vet. 10 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 And there will be great earthquakes in different places, and famines and plagues; and there will be alarming sights, and great signs will appear from heaven; and the winters will be severe.
