1 Then the Pharisees and the Sadducees came, with a captious design, and desired him to show them some miracle in the sky. 2 but he answered them, in the evening you foretel fair weather: when the sky is of a bright red. 3 and in the morning, a foul day: when the sky is of a dusky red, hypocrites, can ye judge of the appearance of the sky, and yet not discern the signs of these times? 4 a wicked degenerate race demand a miracle; but no miracle shall they have beside that of the prophet Jonas, and so leaving them, he went away.
