Apply resurrection daily?
How can we apply the promise of resurrection in our daily lives?

The Promise Declared

“By His power God raised the Lord from the dead, and He will raise us also.” (1 Corinthians 6:14)

Living with Resurrection Perspective

– The same power that raised Jesus is pledged to every believer (Romans 8:11).

– Our future is bodily, tangible, and glorious, not vague or mystical (Philippians 3:20-21).

– Knowing this, we measure every present moment against an eternal horizon.

Motivation for Holiness

1 Corinthians 6:13-20 anchors moral choices in resurrection truth.

• Our bodies matter—they are destined for glory, not degradation.

• Sexual purity, healthy habits, and disciplined stewardship flow from honoring a body God will raise.

• “Therefore honor God with your bodies.” (v. 20)

Strength for Suffering

• “We do not lose heart… the eternal weight of glory far outweighs them all.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-17)

• Pain is temporary; resurrection is permanent.

• Confidence in a restored body calms fear of illness, aging, or persecution.

Fuel for Hopeful Mission

• Because resurrection is real, our labor “in the Lord is not in vain.” (1 Corinthians 15:58)

• Evangelism carries eternal consequences—people you reach today will stand raised tomorrow.

• Generosity makes sense; we’re investing in forever, not just now (Matthew 6:19-21).

Comfort in Grief

• “God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 4:14)

• Funerals become farewells, not endings.

• We mourn, yet we “do not grieve like the rest, who have no hope.” (v. 13)

Cultivating Resurrection Habits

• Start the day recalling your coming resurrection; let it shape priorities.

• Memorize key verses (1 Corinthians 6:14; John 11:25-26) to reset perspective during stress.

• Practice physical acts that anticipate renewal—exercise, care for creation, serve tangible needs.

• End each day thanking God that no failure or fatigue is final; a new, imperishable body awaits.
