How can we daily "enter the covenant"?
In what ways can we "enter into the covenant" in our daily lives?

The Call to Covenant

“...so that you may enter into the covenant of the LORD your God and into the oath He is making with you today.” (Deuteronomy 29:12)

How Daily Life Becomes Covenant Life

• Trust in Christ’s finished work each morning—“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

• Turn from sin whenever it surfaces—“Repent, then, and turn to God” (Acts 3:19).

• Obey what you already know—“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments” (John 14:15).

• Feed on Scripture—“Your word is a lamp to my feet” (Psalm 119:105).

• Speak with God continually—“Pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

• Celebrate the Lord’s Supper reverently—“Do this in remembrance of Me” (1 Corinthians 11:24).

• Practice generous love—“Bear one another’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2).

• Keep short accounts—“If we confess our sins, He is faithful” (1 John 1:9).

Practical Rhythms to Anchor the Covenant

Morning

• Offer yourself afresh: “Here I am; send me” (Isaiah 6:8).

• Read a psalm aloud, letting it shape your outlook.

Midday

• Pause to recall His presence (Psalm 16:8).

• Send a quick note of encouragement; covenant life overflows to others.

Evening

• Review the day with gratitude and repentance (Psalm 139:23-24).

• Read a Gospel passage, resting in His faithfulness.

Guarding the Covenant Together

• Assemble weekly with believers—“Do not forsake meeting together” (Hebrews 10:25).

• Submit to shepherds who watch over your soul (Hebrews 13:17).

• Engage in mutual exhortation so no one is “hardened by sin’s deceitfulness” (Hebrews 3:13).

Promises That Hold Us

• God remembers His covenant forever (Psalm 105:8).

• Nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39).

• He will complete the good work He began (Philippians 1:6).

Living this way does not create the covenant; it receives and reflects it, showing a watching world that the Lord truly is “our God, and we are the people of His pasture” (Psalm 95:7).
