How can we daily "live with Him"?
In what ways can we "live with Him" daily in our actions?

Anchored in Romans 6:8

“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him.” (Romans 6:8)

Living with Him is not a future wish only—it is a present reality that shapes every decision, relationship, and moment.

Our New Identity Shapes Daily Life

• You have been crucified and raised with Christ (Galatians 2:20; Colossians 3:1-3).

• God already “raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him” (Ephesians 2:6).

• Because this is literally true, daily life becomes the stage on which His risen life shows.

Practical Ways to Live with Him Each Day

• Choose surrender first thing: offer your body “as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God” (Romans 12:1).

• Keep short accounts with sin—reckon the old self dead, refuse its claims (Romans 6:11-13).

• Walk by the Spirit so you “will not gratify the desires of the flesh” (Galatians 5:16).

• Let Scripture set your mindset; set your mind “on things above” (Colossians 3:2).

• Lean on His indwelling power—“it is God who works in you to will and to act” (Philippians 2:13).

• Speak and act in love: “Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked” (1 John 2:6).

Daily Rhythms That Keep the Union Visible

Morning:

• Offer the day to Him, acknowledging His lordship.

• Read a portion of Scripture, listening for His voice.

Throughout the day:

• Whisper thanks; gratitude keeps your heart tuned to resurrection reality.

• When temptation appears, recall Romans 6:11—count yourself dead to sin, alive to God.

• Serve someone quietly—He washed feet; follow His pattern.

Evening:

• Review the day with Him—celebrate obedience, confess failure, receive cleansing (1 John 1:9).

• Rest, trusting the One who never slumbers.

Fruit That Proves His Life in Us

As we live with Him, the Spirit produces “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23). These qualities are not self-improvement goals; they are evidence that His resurrection life is flowing through us.

Strength for the Journey

The same “incomparably great power” that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in us (Ephesians 1:19-20). Trust that power when you feel weak, discouraged, or unable to change.

Walking Together

Living with Him is personal but never private. Encourage fellow believers (Hebrews 10:24-25), worship together, bear one another’s burdens. The risen Christ shines most brightly through a unified, loving body.

Eyes on the Horizon

We live with Him now and will live with Him forever. Each obedient choice previews the day when faith becomes sight and resurrection life is all we know. Until then, keep stepping forward—alive with Him, for Him, and through Him.
