How do we see God's wonders in life?
In what ways can we recognize God's "wonders" in our personal experiences?

Scripture Focus

Psalm 77:14: “You are the God who works wonders; You display Your strength among the peoples.”

Why God’s Wonders Matter

• This verse is a literal declaration: God actively performs real, observable wonders.

• His wonders are not confined to biblical times; He continues to reveal His power in our lives today.

• Recognizing them strengthens faith, fuels worship, and magnifies His glory (Psalm 145:5–6).

Recognizing His Wonders in Personal Experience

• Provision at the perfect moment

– An unexpected job offer, timely financial help, or daily bread that arrives “just when you need it” (Philippians 4:19).

• Physical or emotional healing

– A medical turnaround that defies prognosis (Psalm 103:2–3).

• Supernatural peace in crisis

– The “peace of God” guarding heart and mind when circumstances say otherwise (Philippians 4:7).

• Transformation of character

– Addictions broken, bitterness turned to forgiveness, fear replaced by boldness (2 Corinthians 5:17).

• Divine protection

– Accidents averted, harm restrained, journeys made safely (Psalm 91:11–12).

• Unmistakable guidance

– Scripture illuminated, counsel confirmed, doors opened or closed exactly in line with prayer (Proverbs 3:5–6).

• The new birth itself

– A hardened heart awakened to repentance and faith—God’s greatest wonder (John 3:3–8).

Practical Steps to Stay Attentive

1. Daily Scripture reading

• God’s Word tunes the heart to notice His hand (Psalm 119:18).

2. Intentional remembrance

• Keep a journal of answered prayers and significant moments (Joshua 4:6–7).

3. Verbal testimony

• Share God’s works with family and church; testimony sharpens awareness (Psalm 105:1–2).

4. Cultivated gratitude

• Thank Him aloud for small mercies; gratitude opens eyes to larger wonders (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

5. Prayerful expectation

• Ask specifically to see His glory; He delights to reveal Himself (Exodus 33:18–19).

Encouragement from Other Scriptures

Psalm 107:8–9 — His wonders satisfy the thirsty soul.

Job 37:14 — “Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God.”

Mark 5:19 — Jesus urged the healed man to “tell how much the Lord has done.”

Ephesians 3:20 — He is “able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine.”

Look for His wonders today; they are present, personal, and unmistakably His.

How does Psalm 107:15 connect with Ephesians 5:20 on gratitude?
