How is God's salvation seen today?
In what ways can we witness God's "salvation" in our community today?

Living the Verse: “And all humanity will see God’s salvation.” – Luke 3:6

What “seeing” meant then

- Isaiah’s prophecy (Isaiah 52:10) promised public, unmistakable rescue.

- John the Baptist heralded Jesus, whose cross and resurrection put salvation on display for all peoples (John 12:32).

Where we see God’s saving work in our community

• Changed lives

– Addictions broken (2 Corinthians 5:17).

– Marriages restored through repentance and forgiveness (Ephesians 4:32).

• Public confession of faith

– Baptisms declare, “Jesus saves” (Acts 2:41).

• Gospel-centered compassion

– Food banks, crisis-pregnancy care, housing ministries reveal the Savior’s heart (Matthew 5:16).

• Deliverance from darkness

– Prayer that frees people from demonic bondage or crippling fear (Mark 16:17).

• Healing and wholeness

– God answering faith-filled prayer with physical or emotional healing (James 5:14-15).

• Reconciliation across divisions

– Believers of different backgrounds worshiping together as “one new man” in Christ (Ephesians 2:14-16).

Practical ways to recognize and proclaim His salvation

• Keep eyes open for grace stories; note them, share them.

• Invite neighbors to testimony nights; let redeemed voices speak.

• Engage in gospel conversations at work and school; sow the seed (Romans 1:16).

• Serve alongside local ministries; pair deeds with clear words of Christ’s rescue (1 Peter 2:12).

• Celebrate baptisms publicly; use them as teaching moments on the new birth.

• Pray for the Spirit’s power daily; expect God to act (Acts 1:8).
