How to attain everlasting life?
What actions ensure you are among those who "awake to everlasting life"?

The Promise in Daniel 12:2

“Many who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt.”

Embrace Saving Faith in Christ

- “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved” (Acts 16:31).

- Everlasting life is granted to “whoever believes in Him” (John 3:16).

- Trust His substitutionary death and bodily resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Respond With Repentance

- “Repent therefore, and turn back, so that your sins may be wiped away” (Acts 3:19).

- Repentance is a decisive break with sin and a turning to God (Isaiah 55:7).

Publicly Confess and Receive

- “If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9).

- Baptism follows faith as an open declaration of allegiance (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:38).

Walk in Daily Obedience

- Genuine faith produces obedience (John 14:15; James 2:17).

- “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2:10).

Persevere to the End

- “The one who perseveres to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13).

- Hold fast your confidence (Hebrews 10:23) and resist apostasy (Hebrews 3:12-14).

Cultivate Righteous Living and Witness

- Live “blameless and pure, children of God… shining like stars” (Philippians 2:15).

- Share the gospel; “those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever and ever” (Daniel 12:3).

Rest in God’s Assurance

- “He who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life… he has crossed over from death to life” (John 5:24).

- “These things I have written to you who believe… so that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:13).

Living faith, marked by repentance, confession, obedience, perseverance, and witness, positions a believer confidently among those who will awake to everlasting life.
