How to honor the Lamb's power wealth?
In what ways can we honor the Lamb's "power and wealth" in our lives?

The Heavenly Declaration

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing!” (Revelation 5:12). The elders and angelic hosts proclaim what the Lamb already possesses. Our privilege is to echo that anthem on earth, lining up our daily choices with His worth.

Honoring His Power in Daily Life

• Submit gladly to His sovereign authority—“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me” (Matthew 28:18). Obedience in every sphere—family, work, church—testifies that Jesus rules.

• Rely on His strength, not our own—“I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength” (Philippians 4:13). Turning first to prayer, Scripture, and Spirit-led dependence honors His unmatched power.

• Speak boldly of His might—“Tell of His glory among the nations, His wonderful deeds among all peoples” (Psalm 96:3). Sharing testimonies of answered prayer or deliverance directs praise to Him, not us.

• Resist spiritual compromise—“Greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Standing firm against sin displays confidence in His conquering power.

• Celebrate His works in worship—singing, kneeling, lifting hands, and corporate praise mirror the throne room scene and highlight that all power belongs to the Lamb.

Honoring His Wealth in Daily Life

• Acknowledge Him as Owner—“‘The silver is Mine and the gold is Mine,’ declares the LORD of Hosts” (Haggai 2:8). Holding possessions loosely and offering them for His purposes confesses that His riches exceed all.

• Practice cheerful generosity—“You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way” (2 Corinthians 9:11). Giving to gospel work, caring for the needy, and blessing others puts His abundant resources on display.

• Steward resources with integrity—faithful budgeting, honest business, and paying fair wages declare that the Lamb’s wealth is holy and just.

• Trust His provision—“My God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:19). Refusing anxiety about finances honors His inexhaustible treasury.

• Value eternal riches—“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… but store up treasures in heaven” (Matthew 6:19-20). Investing time, talent, and treasure in kingdom priorities showcases the superior wealth of the Lamb.

Living It Out Together

• In the gathered church: prioritize Christ-exalting worship, highlight missionary giving, and share stories of His power and provision.

• In the home: pray over decisions, tithe cheerfully, and teach children that every dollar and every ability belongs to Jesus.

• In the community: act with integrity, generosity, and courage so neighbors see the practicality of a Savior who is both all-powerful and infinitely wealthy.

Each act of surrender, trust, and generosity joins the chorus of heaven, broadcasting that the Lamb truly is worthy to receive “power and wealth.”
