How to join God's global salvation plan?
In what ways can we participate in God's plan for global salvation?

God’s Purpose Unveiled in Isaiah 66:18

“For I know their works and their thoughts, and I am coming to gather all nations and tongues; and they will come and see My glory.” (Isaiah 66:18)

Embrace the Certainty of God’s Mission

• God Himself promises to “gather all nations and tongues.”

• His plan is global, intentional, and unstoppable (2 Peter 3:9).

• Our participation rises from confidence in the literal fulfillment of this promise.

Proclaim the Gospel Locally and Globally

• Jesus’ Great Commission echoes Isaiah 66:18: “Go and make disciples of all nations…” (Matthew 28:19-20).

• Spirit-empowered witness begins where we live and extends “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8).

• Speaking the good news is essential; “faith comes from hearing” (Romans 10:14-15).

Model the Glory We Announce

• God gathers people so they may “see My glory.”

• Christ-like love, holiness, and unity showcase that glory (John 13:34-35; Philippians 2:15).

• Authentic lives validate the message we share.

Give, Send, and Partner

• Financially support missionaries, Bible translators, and relief ministries that open doors for the gospel.

• Encourage and commission believers who sense a call to cross-cultural service.

• Form partnerships with indigenous churches to strengthen their witness.

Pray Strategically for the Nations

• Ask the Lord of the harvest to raise up laborers (Luke 10:2).

• Intercede for unreached peoples, persecuted believers, and open doors.

• Thank God in advance for the multitudes He will gather.

Anticipate the Final Ingathering

Revelation 7:9 portrays the fulfillment of Isaiah 66:18—“a multitude… from every nation and tribe and people and tongue.”

• Hope in that scene fuels perseverance today.

• Participation now means eternal celebration then, as redeemed voices from every corner of the globe praise the Lamb.

How does Isaiah 66:18 connect with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19?
