How to reflect God's glory daily?
In what ways can we reflect God's glory in our daily lives?

Drawing from the Promise

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

What is the Glory We’re Reflecting?

• God’s glory is His visible excellence—His character, power, and presence made known.

• Habakkuk foresees a day when that glory will saturate creation; until then, believers serve as living previews (2 Corinthians 3:18).

Everyday Pathways to Shine His Glory

• Knowing Him Deeply

– Spend time in His Word; the “knowledge of the glory” begins with Scripture (Colossians 3:16).

– The more we behold Him, the more we reflect Him (Psalm 119:105).

• Worshiping Wholeheartedly

– Private praise and gathered worship echo heaven’s anthem (Psalm 29:2).

– A worshipful heart reorients every task toward Him (Psalm 34:1).

• Obeying Consistently

– “Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God.” (1 Corinthians 10:31)

– Integrity at work, purity in relationships, honesty in speech—each decision frames His greatness.

• Loving Tangibly

– “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)

– Serve neighbors, forgive enemies, bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2).

• Stewarding Creation

– Care for the earth He called “very good” (Genesis 1:31).

– Order, beauty, and conservation point back to the Creator (Psalm 24:1).

• Proclaiming the Gospel

– We declare “the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” (2 Corinthians 4:6)

– Sharing Christ’s finished work multiplies His renown.

• Persevering Through Trials

– Suffering embraced with faith displays “tested genuineness” that results “in praise, glory, and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:7)

– Joy in hardship showcases His sustaining strength.

Living as Waters That Cover the Sea

As oceans swallow shorelines, let every corner of life—thoughts, words, habits—be flooded with the knowledge of His glory, until the promise of Habakkuk 2:14 is fully realized.

How does Habakkuk 2:14 connect with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20?
