How to share God's greatness today?
What steps can we take to share God's greatness with others today?

A Moment That Took Their Breath Away

Luke 9:43a: “And they were all astonished at the greatness of God.”

When Jesus freed a demon-oppressed boy, the crowd’s immediate, irrepressible reaction was awe. That same greatness is on display today, and He invites us to help others see it.

Practical Steps to Share God’s Greatness

1. Marvel Personally

• Linger in passages that showcase His power; let them re-ignite wonder (Psalm 145:5).

• “Taste and see that the LORD is good” (Psalm 34:8). Personal awe is contagious.

2. Tell the Story

• Jesus said, “Go home to your own people and tell them how much the Lord has done for you” (Mark 5:19).

• Share specific answers to prayer, healings, and moments of mercy.

3. Live the Difference

• “Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

• Integrity, generosity, and patience become living billboards of His greatness.

4. Serve in Jesus’ Name

• Jesus “went around doing good” (Acts 10:38).

• Meet needs practically—meals, rides, child-care—and offer to pray as you serve.

5. Cultivate Continual Praise

• “One generation will commend Your works to the next” (Psalm 145:4).

• Celebrate testimonies at the dinner table, post Scripture online, sing in the car.

6. Rely on the Holy Spirit

• “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses” (Acts 1:8).

• Ask Him daily for words, timing, and confirming signs (1 Corinthians 2:4).

7. Be Ready to Explain

• “Always be prepared to give a defense to everyone who asks you the reason for the hope that is in you” (1 Peter 3:15).

• Memorize key verses; answer with gentleness and respect.

8. Partner with Community

• “Let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds” (Hebrews 10:24).

• Join outreach teams, small-group projects, or mission trips; we amplify His greatness together.

As we marvel, speak, live, serve, praise, depend, explain, and partner, today’s world gains fresh reasons to be “astonished at the greatness of God.”
