How to share spiritual joy with others?
In what ways can we share the joy of spiritual insight with others?

Scriptural Snapshot

“For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what you hear but did not hear it.” – Luke 10:24

The Privilege We Hold

• Jesus’ statement is a literal fact: countless saints before us longed for the clear revelation we now possess in the gospel narrative.

• The eyes and ears of His disciples—and ours through Scripture—receive something kings and prophets only anticipated (1 Peter 1:12).

• Knowing this privilege fuels an infectious joy that begs to be shared.

Why Joy Should Overflow

• Seeing Christ’s work firsthand (through the inspired record) awakens gratitude and awe (Matthew 13:16-17).

• Spiritual insight is meant for fellowship, not isolation: “We proclaim…so that our joy may be complete” (1 John 1:3-4).

• The more we pass along the light, the brighter it shines (2 Corinthians 4:6).

Everyday Ways to Share Spiritual Joy

• Tell Your Story – Like Peter and John, “we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). Share personal testimonies of how Scripture has opened your eyes.

• Open the Word Together – Invite someone to read Luke 10 aloud with you. Ask, “What amazed you most about Jesus here?”

• Sing the Truth – Let “psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs” spill out in family worship, small groups, and even car rides (Colossians 3:16). Songs lodge truth in the heart.

• Practice Hospitality – Meals create space for relaxed, joyful conversation about God’s goodness (Acts 2:46-47).

• Use Social Media Wisely – Post verses that have stirred you, paired with a brief note on why they matter today.

• Celebrate Publicly – When God answers prayer, speak it from the pulpit, the classroom, or the break room. Testimony multiplies joy.

• Disciple One-on-One – Walk through a gospel with a newer believer, pointing out fulfilled prophecies and Christ’s compassion.

• Serve Tangibly – Joy looks like baking a loaf for a neighbor or mowing a lawn while explaining it’s because the Lord first served us (Mark 10:45).

• Encourage Children – Read Bible stories with animation; their wonder reminds adults of our own privilege.

• Keep It Fresh – Daily time in Scripture ensures we share from overflow, not memory.

Living Pictures of Revelation

• Radiant attitude: “Taste and see that the LORD is good” (Psalm 34:8). A cheerful demeanor authenticates our message.

• Consistent character: People notice when those who talk about grace also extend it.

• Hope under trial: Unshakable confidence in God during hardship makes invisible realities visible (Philippians 4:4-7).

Finishing Thought

Prophets once strained to glimpse what we freely behold in Christ. Let’s refuse to hoard that privilege. Open your mouth, your Bible, and your life—so others can see and hear, and together we’ll share the joy that only grows by giving it away.

How does Luke 10:24 connect with the fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies?
