Impact of Jesus' purity on daily faith?
How should Jesus' incorruptibility influence our daily walk with God?

Foundational Truth: The Incorruptibility of Jesus

“ ‘He whom God raised from the dead did not see decay.’ ” (Acts 13:37)

• Luke records Paul’s sermon, anchoring our faith in the literal, bodily resurrection of Jesus.

• Unlike David and every other human, Jesus “did not see decay,” fulfilling Psalm 16:10.

• His resurrection is permanent proof that death’s corruption has been conquered.

Why Incorruptibility Matters Today

• Certainty: If His body never decayed, neither will His promises (2 Corinthians 1:20).

• Security: Our salvation rests on a living Savior (Hebrews 7:25).

• Identity: United with Christ, we share in His life that can never spoil (Romans 6:4–5).

• Mission: We proclaim a gospel grounded in historical fact, not myth (1 Corinthians 15:14).

Daily Confidence in a Living Savior

• Start each day remembering He is alive—speak to Him as present (John 14:18–19).

• Face temptation knowing resurrection power breaks sin’s grip (Romans 8:11–13).

• Approach trials with hope; decay, disease, and death will not have the last word (1 Peter 1:3–4).

• Let worship overflow—He is worthy precisely because He conquered corruption (Revelation 5:9–10).

Pursuing Personal Holiness

Because Jesus remains incorruptible:

 – Pursue purity of heart and body (1 Corinthians 6:19–20).

 – Reject “corrupting talk” and attitudes (Ephesians 4:29–32).

 – Invest in eternal treasures rather than perishable ones (Matthew 6:19–21).

Strength for Perseverance

• His unfading life guarantees grace for every step (2 Timothy 2:1).

• The Spirit who raised Jesus empowers us to endure (Galatians 6:9).

• Fix eyes on the “incorruptible crown” promised to faithful servants (1 Corinthians 9:25).

Hope Beyond the Grave

• Just as His body remained undecayed, our resurrection bodies will be “imperishable” (1 Corinthians 15:52–53).

• Funerals become testimonies of victory, not final defeats (1 Thessalonians 4:13–14).

• Comfort one another with this living hope, anchored in Acts 13:37.

Walking It Out This Week

• Meditate on Psalm 16:10 and rejoice that it is already fulfilled.

• Confess any area where decay—sin, cynicism, complacency—has crept in.

• Serve someone in need, showing that the living Christ works through living people.

• End each day thanking Him that His body never saw decay—and neither will His kingdom.
