Use Trinity's unity to resolve conflicts?
How can we apply the Trinity's unity to resolve conflicts in our lives?

Opening Verse

“May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.” — 2 Corinthians 13:14

What We See in the Trinity

• The Son extends grace

• The Father pours out love

• The Spirit creates fellowship

Together They model a seamless, self‐giving unity that becomes our pattern for resolving conflict.

Grace: The Starting Point in Conflict

• Remember that Christ met us with unearned favor; we meet others the same way (Ephesians 4:32).

• Speak words that give grace instead of tearing down (Ephesians 4:29).

• Release the right to retaliate; Christ absorbed our debt, so we absorb offenses (Colossians 3:13).

Love: The Governing Motive

• Choose sacrificial concern for the other person’s good (1 Peter 4:8).

• Let love drive patience, kindness, and humility (1 Corinthians 13:4-7).

• Refuse bitterness; love “keeps no record of wrongs.”

Fellowship: The Practical Expression

• Pursue face-to-face reconciliation, not avoidance (Matthew 5:23-24).

• Walk “with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love” while “eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace” (Ephesians 4:2-3).

• Invite the Spirit’s guidance; He produces peace, patience, kindness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Putting It All Together

1. Pause and receive the grace Jesus continually gives.

2. Ask the Father to fill the heart with His love for the other person.

3. Lean on the Spirit to lead every word and action toward restored fellowship.

4. Move first: apologize where needed, forgive freely, and seek mutual understanding.

5. Keep the relationship before the issue, just as the Trinity keeps perfect oneness while accomplishing distinct roles.

Personal Heart Checklist

• I am extending the grace I have received.

• I am motivated by the Father’s love, not personal triumph.
