Use talents for God's glory today?
How can we use our God-given talents for His glory today?

Gifted by the Master Craftsman

“to design artistic works in gold, silver, and bronze.” — Exodus 31:4

Recognizing the Source of Every Skill

• God Himself “filled” Bezalel (v.3). Skills are not random; they are deliberate gifts.

1 Corinthians 12:4–6: “There are different gifts, but the same Spirit… the same God who works all things in all men.”

• Acknowledge every aptitude—academic, mechanical, artistic, relational—as evidence of His workmanship.

Discovering and Developing Your Craft

• Pray for clarity (James 1:5).

• Pay attention to what energizes you. Passion often shadows calling.

• Practice and training honor the Giver. Proverbs 22:29: skillful work brings influence.

• Seek godly mentors as Moses mentored Bezalel (Exodus 31:6).

Deploying Your Talents in Everyday Life

• Church: Musicians lead worship; administrators streamline ministry (Romans 12:6-8).

• Workplace: Excellence at your desk or job site is worship (Colossians 3:23-24).

• Community: Hospitality, coaching, tutoring—each becomes salt and light (Matthew 5:14-16).

• Digital spaces: Graphic design, writing, coding can proclaim truth worldwide.

Serving One Another

1 Peter 4:10: “Each of you should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace…”

• Look for needs first, not platforms. God values service more than spotlight.

Staying Humble, Giving Glory to God

John 15:5: apart from Christ we can do nothing.

• Regularly redirect praise: “The skill is His, I’m just the steward.”

• Guard against comparison; every part of the body is vital (1 Corinthians 12:14-22).

Fruit God Delights To See

• People encounter His beauty through art, music, craftsmanship.

• Needs are met; burdens lifted.

• The gospel advances as credibility grows through excellence and integrity.

• Fellow believers are equipped and encouraged.

Closing Encouragement

God still calls modern “Bezalels.” Whatever He has placed in your hands, shape it diligently, offer it gladly, and let every finished piece—whether sermon, spreadsheet, song, or supper—echo His glory.
