What does ""My hand made all"" show?
What does "My hand has made all these things" reveal about God's power?

Anchor Verse

“My hand has made all these things, and so all these things came into being,” declares the LORD. Isaiah 66:2

God’s Creative Omnipotence

• The phrase “My hand” highlights God as the sole Designer and Builder of everything that exists.

Genesis 1:1 confirms this absolute creative act: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”.

Psalm 33:6–9 adds that He merely spoke and matter obeyed. Nothing is too big, too complex, or too small for Him.

Power Displayed Across Creation

• The heavens (Psalm 19:1), the earth (Isaiah 45:12), and every life-form (Job 12:10) testify to His unlimited might.

Colossians 1:16–17 shows Christ as the divine Agent through whom all things were made and are still held together.

• Every galaxy, atom, and heartbeat runs on God’s creative power—none exist independently.

Power to Sustain and Govern

Hebrews 1:3 says the Son “upholds all things by His powerful word.” The power that birthed creation also sustains it moment by moment.

Acts 17:25–28 teaches that humanity lives, moves, and has its being in Him; our very breath depends on His ongoing activity.

• Seasons, tides, and natural laws remain stable because His hand keeps them orderly.

Power That Commands Awe and Humility

• In Isaiah 66:2 the creative claim is linked to God’s gaze upon “the humble and contrite in spirit.”

• Recognizing His power strips away self-reliance and fosters trembling reverence (Psalm 99:1–3).

• Pride crumbles when faced with the One whose hand fashioned galaxies and governs nations (Daniel 4:34-35).

Power That Invites Worship and Trust

Revelation 4:11 declares, “For You created all things, and by Your will they exist and came to be”. Worship is the fitting response.

• Trust flows naturally—if His hand made and upholds all, it can certainly meet personal needs (Matthew 6:25-33).

Romans 8:32 argues from greater to lesser: the God who spared not His own Son and whose hand formed the universe will graciously provide everything His children truly need.

Living in Light of His Handiwork

• Rest—His sovereign power frees us from anxiety (Philippians 4:6-7).

• Obey—His authority calls for submission to His Word (James 1:22).

• Proclaim—His creative power deserves to be shared with a world hungry for meaning (Psalm 96:2-4).

How does Acts 7:50 emphasize God's sovereignty in creation and our daily lives?
