2 Chronicles 16:9—God’s Roving Eyes and Strong Support

“For the eyes of the LORD roam to and fro over all the earth to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him.”

From this verse we learn that God is actively searching for men and women whose loyalty is undivided so He can pour out His strength on their behalf.


Old-Testament Echoes of the Same Promise

Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid or terrified of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Psalm 34:7 – “The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and He delivers them.”
