Then he made an altar of bronze; twenty cubits (30 feet) its length, and twenty cubits (30 feet) its width, and ten cubits (15 feet) its height.

He also made a circular sea of melted and cast bronze, ten cubits (15 feet) from brim to brim (its diameter), and five cubits (7½ feet) high; and took a measuring line of thirty cubits (45 feet) to encompass it (its circumference). 3And under the brim around the outside were the figures of oxen, in two rows, which encircled the sea; ten oxen to a cubit all around. The two rows of oxen were cast in one piece. 4The sea rested upon twelve bronze oxen, all facing outward, their hindquarters inward - three oxen facing north, three facing west, three facing south, and three facing east. 5And the thickness of the sea was a handbreadth, and its brim like the brim of a cup, like a lily flower; and it could hold three thousand baths of water (about 17,400 gallons).

He also made ten lavers (basins) and placed five to the right, and five to the left of the altar, to wash the things that were presented for the burnt offerings in; but the sea was used by the priests to wash in.

And he made ten lampstands of gold according to their specifications, and set them in the Temple, five on the south side, and five on the north.

He made also ten tables, and placed them in the Temple, five on the south side, and five on the north. And he made a hundred sprinkling bowls of gold.

He made the courtyard for the priests, and the large court, and doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with bronze. 10And he placed the sea on the south side at the southeast corner.

And Huram also made the pots, shovels, and basins. And Hiram finished what he had undertaken to make for King Solomon for the Temple of God: 12The two pillars, the bowl-shaped capitals for atop the two pillars, the two networks to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals atop of the pillars; 13And four hundred pomegranates on the two networks (wreaths); two rows of pomegranates on each network (wreath), to cover the two bowl-shaped capitals atop the pillars. 14He also made bases (stands), and basins upon the bases; 15One sea, and twelve oxen under it. 16The pots also, and the shovels, and the fleshhooks, and all their implements, Huram Abi (Huram-abi is the "master workman" whom Hiram sent to Solomon) made for King Solomon for the Temple of the LORD of polished bronze. 17The king had them cast in the clay ground in the plain of Jordan between Succoth and Zeredah. 18Solomon made all these vessels in such great abundance, that the total weight of the bronze could not be calculated.

And Solomon also had all the vessels made that were for the Temple of God: the golden altar and the tables on which the showbread was set; 20The lampstands were of pure gold with their lamps, to burn according to the ordinance, in front of the inner sanctuary, 21And floral work, the lamps, and the tongs, all made of solid gold, 22The snuffers, basins, spoons, and the censers, of pure gold. And the gold-plated inner doors for entrance to the most holy place of the Temple.
