A Song of degrees.

1I will lift my eyes unto the hills. Where does my help come from? 2It comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. 3He will not let your foot slip; He Who watches over you will not slumber. 4Indeed, He Who watches over Israel never slumbers nor sleeps. 5The LORD watches over you; the LORD stands by your right hand and shades you. 6So that the sun shall not beat upon you by day, nor the moon by night. 7The LORD shall keep you from all harm; He shall preserve your soul. 8The LORD shall watch over you as you come and go from this time forth, and for evermore.
