1After this I heard what sounded like the roar of many people in heaven, shouting, “Hallelujah! Salvation, and glory, honor, and power, to the Lord our God; 2For true and righteous are His judgments. He has condemned the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her adulteries, and He has avenged the blood of His servants that was shed at her hand.” 3And again they shouted, “Hallelujah! The smoke from her rises forever and ever.” 4And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshipped God, Who was seated on the throne, and said, “Amen; Hallelujah!” 5And then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants, and you that fear Him, both great and small.” 6And then I heard what sounded like a great multitude - like the roar of rushing waters, and loud peals of thunder, shouting, “Hallelujah! For the Lord God Almighty reigns. 7Let us rejoice and be glad, and give Him honor; for the wedding of the Lamb has come, and His bride has made herself ready.” 8And fine linen, white, bright, and clean, was given to her to wear; for the fine linen symbolizes the righteousness of God’s saints. 9And the angel said to me, “Write this: ‘Blessed are they who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb.’” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” 10And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, with you and your brothers and sisters that testify of their faith in Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” 11And I saw heaven opened, and there before me was a white horse; and its rider was called Faithful and True, and with justice He judges and wages war. 12His eyes were like flames of fire, and on His head were many crowns. A name was written on Him, that no man knows, but only He Himself. 13And He was clothed in a robe dipped in blood; and His name is “The Word of God.” 14And the armies of heaven followed Him, riding on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15And coming out of His mouth is a sharp sword, with which He will strike down the nations, and “He shall rule them with a rod (scepter) of iron.” (Ps.2:9, Is.11:4); and He will tread the winepress of the fierce wrath of Almighty God. 16And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: “KING of kings, and LORD of lords.” 17And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he called in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, “Come and gather together at the feast provided by the great God, 18So that you may eat the flesh of kings, commanders, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and of all men, whether free or slave, great or small.” 19And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, assembled together to wage war against Him that sat on the white horse, and against His army. 20But the beast was captured, and with it the false prophet that had performed signs and wonders for the beast, by which he deceived and deluded those that had received the mark of the beast, and those that worshipped its image. The two of them were thrown alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone (sulfur). 21And the rest of their army was killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of Him Who sat upon the white horse; and all the birds gorged themselves with their flesh.
